when i was in 6th grade we moved to scottsdale.

the great thing about it was i no longer was forced to go to Catholic School which I hated because we had to dress up everyday and wear nice cloths. We got to go to the government schools which didn't have any dress code. I went to Hohokam school.

My new dress routine was always Levis and a t-shirt. Preferablly a worn out pair of Levis and a worn out t-shirt.

I guess the kids at school thought I was poor because I always wore worn out clothes. One day I showed my school mate my closet full of dress clothes that I never wore to school.

He was shocked. I had a whole closet full of nice clothes that I never wore.

The other nice thing was I didn't have to learn religion in the government schools.

My parents made me go to catachism at the Catholic School which was St Danials Elementary school. I loved it. Not because of the nonsense they taught in the classes about people turning to a block of salt, or whales sowalling people. But because I had a place I could goof off in class. In the government schools and my prior Catholic school I never goofed off. But catachis was fun I could goof off.
